Scheduled for November 8-10, 2013, the workshop allows participants to develop hunting, fishing, boating and other outdoor recreation skills through sessions led by outdoors professionals. These sessions provide novices and more experienced participants enough knowledge and experience to pursue their outdoors interests when the workshop is over, no experience is necessary!

Cast One For Hope is scheduled for October 4 – 5, 2013, and will take place in Western Montana.

The North West Illinois Turkey Chapter of the NWTF will be holding a special event to teach youth how to shoot a bow and arrow on July 27 and 28, 2013. Located at the Cabela’s in Hoffman Estates, Ill., the event will kick off at 1:00pm both days and all gear will be provided.

Registration for the Nebraska Becoming an Outdoors-Woman workshop is now open. The event will take place Oct. 4-6 at the 4-H camp in the Bessey Division of the Nebraska National Forest, and is designed to encourage women to learn about ways to participate in outdoor activities.

Women can learn the basics of fishing, hunting, and other outdoor skills at a weekend workshop Sept. 13-15, coordinated by Washington Outdoor Women.

Registration for the annual Kentucky Becoming an Outdoors-Woman workshop in September is now open.

Women’s Adventure is partnering with the HERA Women’s Cancer Foundation, a nationally recognized nonprofit whose mission is to stop the loss of women from ovarian cancer, by supporting the Climb4Life Colorado on June 22, 2013, at Eldorado Springs State Park.
