As many of you don’t know … I’m smack-dab in the middle of a ranch renovation project that includes choosing faucets, light fixtures, door knobs, you-name-it. It makes my eyes want to roll back in their sockets. Presently, I am struggling with finding the perfect antler chandelier to hang in the entryway. Why? To make a statement: that we are a whitetail deer-hunting, cannot-miss-the-season family.
In fact, I bet the headline got you, didn’t it? The “getting lit” part? Maybe I should “get lit” in order to find this baby, because the choices overwhelm me, making my eyes do that rolley thing again, and the prices range from $250 for a resin-antler concoction to several thousand dollars for real antlers arranged artistically and strung with Christmas lights. But, I have to wonder if I’d like it the next morning?
So, if you’ve seen an antler chandelier that would fit in a nice, big space and it fits the criteria of not having these things:
Let me know. In fact, if I choose your antler chandelier, I’ll send you a prize from the Ozarks of Missouri, and it won’t be the chandelier that’s there. It’ll be … let’s see … a box of Missouri black walnuts, dipped in chocolate. Just comment below and let me know if you find a chandelier with white tail antlers, real or resin, that you think would get me lit.

Good advice, Melita. I think I’ll send you a few chocolate walnuts.
Will all the spare time you have, how about make your own chandelier? DON’T shoot! lol
I will do that as soon as I finish weaving a few more baskets and putting up some pickled okra.
Dropped you an e mail – also have some friends who make many different custom antler art installations – beautiful work – also get a discount if you provide your own antlers 🙂
Must find the photo pf my friends antler christmas tree – it was wonderful!

Traci, you are a girl after my own funny bone!! LOL — too funny.
Barb, when you least expect it, the right one will come along…it may take awhile, but make sure you love love LOVE it…otherwise you will look at it everyday and say “I wish I had bought ____, because I hate this one.” and you’ll pick it apart everyday. We’re chicks, it’s what we do. : ) I’ll keep my antler-eyes out for one!
