It’s Christmas in July! Which actually makes me somewhat crazy. The ads, posts and events to promote it weeks ahead of time are irritating while I’m trying to soak up the summer. But I get it. We’re halfway to Christmas, so we might as well celebrate something at the end of July.
Since Santa is enjoying his summer vacation, it would be rude for me to ask him to deliver gifts this time of year. So, I guess it’s up to me to pick out gifts for myself and others from Springfield Armory’s online store. Since it’s all hypothetical (I’m not rich, don’t drive a sleigh and have no elves), I may as well go all out.
Gifts for Me
As I mentioned in my previous post, “Meet Springfield’s Hellcat Pro Comp OSP Handgun,” I admitted my obsession with the Hellcat Pro. Christmas in July is an excellent time to add to my collection.

As for clothing, I LOVE the Springfield’s Ladies Performance Jacket. Since I already have one in black, I would gift myself the red version, a perfect color for Christmas in July.

Since Christmas in July is the season of giving, the following are a few suggestions for him any time of year.
Springfield men’s American Paradise button-down is a perfect summertime shirt. The preshrunk fabric is 100 percent rayon. Available in sizes small through 3x, it would look great by itself or worn with a tee-shirt underneath.

So whether you are relaxing in a pool, working in your garden or even just spending the day at the office, I hope you have a little time to celebrate this ridiculous made-up holiday I know I did.
