SPRINGFIELD, Va., Dec. 28, 2022 — BoatUS Magazine, the membership publication of the Boat Owners Association of The United States (BoatUS), continued to grow its educational boating video library on YouTube during 2022 by earning nearly 2 million views – translating to around 80,000 hours spent watching BoatUS videos.
While the national advocacy, services and safety group would never recommend anyone watch even a fraction of that total, it was noted that BoatUS video “Shorts,” which are vertical-format videos under one minute, made up two-thirds of the 2022 BoatUS top 10 most-watched videos. The @BoatUS YouTube Channel also reached nearly 60,000 subscribers in 2022.
