From our friends at the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) about National Shooting Sports Month
The final numbers are in, and we’re pleased to report that NSSF’s National Shooting Sports Month, celebrated in August, was a major success. After just two years of promoting this initiative, we’re confident in saying that National Shooting Sports Month has become the recognized celebration of recreational shooting nationwide.
To our generous sponsors and dedicated partners, I extend a sincere thank you for helping National Shooting Sports Month reach new heights in 2018.
New this year, NSSF’s LetsGoShooting.org website is the place to find shooting and sales events near you. Additionally, the site provides new and experienced shooters with a wealth of information about the shooting sports, tips on being a safer shooter and how to improve shooting skills. Also included are resources on how to find a range or retailer near you, as well as how to invite someone to go target shooting.
We’re excited about National Shooting Sports Month, and the growth and benefits it can bring to your business or organization. As you’re working on next year’s marketing budgets and calendar schedules, make sure to incorporate the 2019 National Shooting Sports Month campaign into your plans. By promoting the enjoyment of shooting to customers, members and newcomers, we will grow the shooting sports that much faster.
