The Well Armed Woman 5th Annual National Leadership Conference

Nearly 400 Chapter Leaders and The Well Armed Woman (TWAW) Certified Firearms Instructors from across the country will gather in Branson, Missouri from Oct. 5-7, 2018 to build leadership skills and expand knowledge, as well as hear from well-respected industry leaders.

This year’s National Leadership Conference will be held at the scenic Chateau on the Lake Resort and Conference Center in Branson. NRA Women, an educational resource for female gun enthusiasts, will be the presenting sponsor of the 2018 National Leadership Conference. Other high caliber sponsors include, Glock, Ruger, Walther, USCCA, Liberty Safe, CrossBreed Holsters, The Well Armed Woman, LLC, Hornady, Action Target, Gun Tote’n Mamas, Girls With Guns Clothing, Cheeterz Firearms Accessories, Crimson Trace, Action Target, LWRCI, and Lucas Oil. The unofficial kickoff for the conference takes place on Thursday, Oct. 4 when Chapter Leaders may opt to participate in Range Day. Hosted by the Bass Pro Shops Shooting Academy in Ridgedale, MO, this stunning, world-class outdoor shooting facility offers spectacular panoramic views of Table Rock Lake and the Ozark Mountains. Range Day sponsors also include Cheeterz Firearms Accessories,  Blaser Shotguns, Fiocchi Ammunition, White Flyer Targets, Promatic Traps, Browning, and Big Cedar Lodge.

Founded in 2013 by Carrie Lightfoot, who serves as Chairwoman of the Board, TWAW Shooting Chapters nonprofit organization consists of nearly 12,000 members in 400 shooting chapters across the country. TWAW Shooting Chapters remains at the forefront as a training and educational organization aiming to educate, equip, and empower women as armed self-protectors. 

“We are living in a time that is marked by change. In every aspect and on every level, life is not what it used to be. For women, today’s new reality requires some major changes. One significant change is the woman’s journey from being the protected to becoming the protector,” says Lightfoot.

The 3-day Conference is jam-packed with amazing training opportunities, breakout session speakers, and inspiring keynotes from industry leaders which include Susan LaPierre, Lt. Col. Dave Grossman, Jen O’Hara, Vicki Farnam, Il Ling New, Cheyenne Dalton, and more.
