BOW in the Snow: The 20th Annual Winter BOW

The 20th  annual Winter BOW weekend workshop at Treehaven Field Station, Tomahawk, Wisconsin is February 16-18, 2018.
Come play in the snow at Winter BOW! There are more than 20 classes to choose from including snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, ice fishing, Dutch oven cooking, archery, raptor ecology, furbearer ecology, sewing with fur, firearm safety, preserving the harvest, winter survival, processing venison, fishes of Wisconsin, rifle markswoman and more.

Classes are geared for beginners and women of all ages (minimum 18 yrs old) and fitness levels are welcome!

Treehaven offers modern dorm and classroom facilities as well as warm hospitality and excellent food. Treehaven rests on a glacial ridge overlooking 1,400 acres of forest and wetlands making this location a must-see destination in winter.

The $399 registration fee includes 2 nights lodging, 7 meals, 4 hands-on classes taught by patient and knowledgeable instructors, evening programs, prizes, camaraderie and fun! (Some classes may require an additional fee).

BOW-Dogs Winter BOW

A Beyond BOW weekend of Dog Sledding, Skijoring, Cross-Country Skiing, Snowshoeing and more at Two Moons Kennels on Fawn Lake in Springstead, Wisconsin (near Park Falls).

This one-of-a-kind, special Beyond BOW event will provide an opportunity for 10 women to immerse themselves

in unique winter activities. Your Hosts, MJ Slone and Chad McGrath are long-time BOW instructors and dog enthusiasts.
