March 28, Springfield, MO – Bold Betties a fast-growing outdoors women’s group is launching its first Midwest chapter this week in Springfield with a goal to take the intimidation out of adventure.
Bold Betties began as a Colorado Meetup group of women exploring the outdoors together. Women in all different stages of life and all skill sets are members. With over twenty thousand members nationwide it is clear that women are excited to embrace the opportunity to try new things and discover their “bold” whether that’s through rock climbing, fly fishing or simply meeting for coffee.
“I have met so many women through the years who want to camp, fish, hunt and try other outdoor activities but may not know where to start. The great thing about Bold Betties is it provides a way to learn about and try these things with support and without pressure.” said Springfield Chapter Leader and Missouri State alumna Kelli Conway.
Conway has a background in the outdoor industry both personally and professionally and is excited to share that passion with other women in the Ozarks.
The Bold Betties Springfield Chapter will have a kick-off brunch and meet and greet Sunday, April 2nd at Metropolitan Farmer. More details can be found on their Meetup group page: https://www.meetup.com/Bold-Betties-Springfield/
