Becky Lou Lacock is Keynote Speaker at Oklahoma Camo & Pearls Event

This Women in the Outdoors event not only features one of our fav friends in the biz, Becky Lou Lacock, but also, a $4,000 custom built 2VetArms rifle!

Oklahoma City, Okla. — The Camo & Pearls Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) announces its 7th Annual heritage fundraising banquet. The event is scheduled for Saturday, July 11, 2015, at 5:30PM at the Reed Conference Center in Oklahoma City, Okla.

This unique chapter of the NWTF was created to inspire women who enjoy the outdoors, hunting and conservation. All women in attendance who dress in their “Camo & Pearls” will be entered to win a special door prize. Although the event is intended to celebrate women, dates are welcome and encouraged.

Becky Lou Lacock, of Becky Lou Outdoors, is scheduled to appear as the event’s keynote speaker. The evening will include raffles, games, silent and live auctions. Industry leader, 2Vet Arms, is generously donating a custom built, one of a kind 308LRK rifle valued at over $4,000, with a special serial number commemorating the event.

rifle-2vetsarmsThe Camo & Pearls Chapter will also be hosting a co-ed sporting clay tournament at Quail Ridge Sporting Clays at 9:00AM the morning of the fundraising banquet, July 11, 2015. Awards will be presented at the evening banquet.

All proceeds from the banquet and sporting clay tournament will support NWTF’s hunting heritage and conservation projects. Since 1985, Oklahoma chapters of NWTF have raised and spent over $1,413,982 for habitat conservation, outreach programs, scholarships and other community programs within the state. Proceeds from some event activities are specifically earmarked for the Women in the Outdoors (WITO) program.
