WON Guns Mia Anstine and Britney Starr were among the approximate 1,800 outdoor industry leaders and TV personalities at the 13th Annual Golden Moose Awards, held during the National Shooting Sports Foundation’s annual Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade Show (SHOT Show) on January 17, 2013. This year’s Outdoor Channel award show was held in the the Venetian Theatre at The Venetian Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nev.

Host Michael Waddell, of Outdoor Channel’s “Realtree Road Trips with Michael Waddell” and “Bone Collector,” kicked off the evening with a short speech that set the tone for the event. “We aren’t celebrating the fact that we are good hunters and fishermen,” Waddell said. “We are here to celebrate the fact that we can hunt and fish.”
Other speakers included Outdoor Channel’s president and CEO, Tom Hornish, and executive director for the NRA’s Institute for Legislative Action, Chris Cox.
Several lady hunters went home with awards this year, including Tiffany Lakosky of “The Crush with Lee & Tiffany” and Nicole Reeve of “Driven TV with Pat & Nicole.”

Attendees were also treated to performances during the ceremony by Craig Morgan (2013 Golden Moose Humanitarian Award recipient), who performed “What Matters Most” and Aaron Lewis, who performed “Country Boy.” At the conclusion of the awards, country music stars Big & Rich performed multiple songs.
