There are still openings in the September 7-9, 2012 Beyond BOW Camping Workshop. If you want to learn basic camping skills, learn some new camping skills or refresh your camping skills then this is the workshop for you. It will be held at the DEC’s North-South Lake Campground in the northern Catskills, easily accessible from the NYS Thruway.
A Beyond BOW workshop is any BOW event that is different than the big, 3 day, 30+ classes workshop designed for beginners like the one we just had in June at Silver Bay. A Beyond BOW event could be an intermediate or advanced level workshop, an actual camping or canoeing trip, a full day hike or a longer, more detailed beginner class. Most Beyond BOW events are planned and implemented by our BOW instructors (who love teaching you soooo much that they want to do more than just the one big BOW a year).
