Las Vegas, Nev. – Team Smith & Wesson Captain Julie Golob won the Ladies Revolver Championship at the USPSA Nationals September 20. This makes Julie the only shooter, male or female, ever to win a national championship in all six divisions (Open, Limited, L10, Production, Single Stack and Revolver) in USPSA’s 35-year history.
Julie shot the match with a borrowed Smith & Wesson Model 625 revolver.
“I can’t stop smiling!” Julie said after the match. “I’m so happy that all my training paid off.”
“The ROs [range officers] were awesome,” she added. “We should always remember that our shooting matches would not be possible without these dedicated volunteers.”

Thanks so much for the congrats everyone!!! It’s been an AWESOME week 🙂
The congratulations are well deserved. You’ve trained and worked very hard for many years to get where you are.
“USPSA divisional national championships. Collect all six!” 🙂
I concur with Tammy, Bill and Britney … Julie rocks!
Totally awesome shooting! Congratulations, indeed! No TV show needed to prove you’re the Top Shot. My mom and dad took a firearms course about 10-15 years ago. My dad is retired navy and has lots of firearms experience. My mom was no stranger to guns, either, growing up in rural Oklahoma. Not only did my mom outshoot my dad, but everyone else in the class, as well, all of whom were men! Talk about a lot of bruised egos…
Bill said it all very well, Julie! You are amazing!! Thanks for all you’ve done for women shooters throughout the world with your inspiration.
Congratulations, Julie! What a tremendous accomplishment. You are now literally in a class by yourself . . . though we pretty much thought so already.
Congratulations on a much deserved win!! You are truly an inspiration to women shooters everywhere. Thank you for all that you do.
Congratulations, Julie! You are an inspiration to all of us…especially your fellow ladies who shoot!
