As I sit in my chair by the fire, preparing to settle in for the first snowstorm of the year, I can’t help but reflect on 2024 and the many companies we partnered with at Women’s Outdoor News. One of these companies is Gun Tote’n Mamas (GTM), which is dedicated to women’s protection. We shared articles covering various topics that we believe will be valuable in your quest to protect yourself and your loved ones. Here are some highlights from our 2024 posts.
In January, I had the pleasure of sharing my experience visiting the Gun Tote’n Mamas booth at the SHOT Show. It is always a thrill to see the new purses Claudia Chisholm, president of GTM, designed or reimagined that may become part of the line that year. Read the article, Gun Tote’n Mamas SHOT Show Highlights and see if you can spot the purses GTM added to the collection.
Do you know what a superhero is? Are you a superhero yourself? In the post “GTM Offers Tools for Superheroes,” you’ll discover how to identify a superhero and get tips on how to become one. Additionally, find out which purses GTM offers that are the perfect fit for a superhero’s tools.
After noticing numerous cringe-worthy photos of women improperly carrying concealed carry purses, I decided it was time to cover the topic of fitting your concealed carry purse. The article, “Fitting Your Concealed Carry Purse to You,” contains six steps from selecting the correct concealed carry purse to making adjustments for the perfect draw.
In honor of the National Shooting Sports Foundation’s (NSSF’s) Gun Storage Week in June we thought it would be a great time to remind everyone of quick easy and safe ways to store their firearms when carrying off-body. We also shared links to more information on the NSSF’s website about storing guns including checklists for your home.
If you have travel plans in 2025, “Perfect Concealed Carry Travel Bags” is an excellent resource for helping you decide which Gun Tote’n Mamas bag best suits your needs.
August signals the return to school for many college students, teachers and professors. However, that doesn’t mean they should stop prioritizing their safety. In “Back to School with Gun Tote’n Mamas,” I provided suggestions for items that women can carry in the gun compartment of their GTM purses when carrying a firearm isn’t an option.
If you want to know which fashions were popular in the fall and which GTM purses complemented them, you should check out “Fall Fashion Purses at Gun Tote’n Mamas.” As always, GTM has the perfect purse to carry with any outfit.
I said it in the original article and I’ll say it again, I always loved the Gun Tote’Mamas’ Classic School Girl Satchel Crossbody purse. In 2024 GTM restyled the purse by scaling it down a bit and adding new colors. Read my review here to find out the new colors and features of this super cute purse.
Just in time for holiday shopping, I shared a list of gift suggestions focused on safety for the adults in your life. The best part is that these ideas are perfect for gift-giving any time of the year. Check them out in my article, “Giving the Gift of Personal Safety.”
As I mentioned in the beginning, Gun Tote’n Mamas is dedicated to women’s safety. Throughout the years, many of their sponsored posts provided practical safety tips for shopping, socializing and more. In the final post for 2024, “Protecting Yourself this Holiday Season,” I gathered many of these articles as quick reminders ensuring you’re prepared and empowered to stay safe and protect yourself in the new year.
