Melissa Bachman, of “Winchester Deadly Passion,” is a role model for women who is as tenacious about firearm safety as she is exuberant about hunting. Hailing from Minnesota, where hunting pageantry can put a newbie in serious danger, Melissa represents the cream of the crop.
Melissa has become a jack-of-all trades in welding presence, efficiency and character through her demanding travel, hunt and media schedule. This has not only enabled her to be a guidon for worldly hunting but she’s never let her humble fame define her character. Apart from her illustrious career in carving a path for female hunters, she remains a stalwart figure in her family – one who lays down fast and fair rules in regards to gun safety. Melissa believes in the timeless basics of firearm accountability and security, but repeatedly has been an example of how technology and improvements can augment the safety of big and little hands alike.

Melissa Bachman represents going after what you want in the outdoor industry. The spirit of entrepreneurship and a desire to portray real hunting motivated this Minnesota woman to produce her own TV shows when no one else was interested, and to work behind the scenes – learning how to professionally put together a hunting show. The work paid off, but that success doesn’t stop Melissa from continuing to pursue excellence, as can be seen in her weekly TV show, “Winchester Deadly Passion,” on the Sportsman Channel.
Melissa is a champion at representing real women hunters, and she uses every opportunity to be a role model to women who are interested in this truly American tradition. Whether at a trade show in a seminar, on her television show or in person, she remains the same – candid and unashamed of what she does for a vocation and as a passion.
