Giving the Gift of Personal Safety

It is that time of year to begin thinking of or getting a head start on Christmas shopping. Don’t panic! Here are worthy suggestions for the adults on your list, so that you can make this year’s Christmas gift-buying experience more accessible (and make you the greatest Santa ever). The best part is that these gift ideas all pertain to the safety of those you love and are inspired by Gun Tote’n Mamas concealed-carry purses and bags.

First, consider a concealed-carry purse. Suppose the person you are shopping for doesn’t own a Gun Tote’n Mamas purse. That’s where you need to begin. A few sneaky ways to find out what style purse she wants is to send her the previous article, “Fall Fashion Purses at Gun Tote’n Mamas,” show her some of your purses or search the website with her, pretending that you’re shopping for yourself. Oh, and although I’m referring to your gift recipient as her, know that GTM also has options for men

If you know someone who loves to travel, look no further than the article “Perfect Concealed Carry Travel Bags.” The six suggested bags come with different features, so you’re sure to find the purse most appealing to the traveler on your list.

If your gift recipient already owns all the GTM purses and bags (or a least a few), how about some items to put inside? We aren’t always able to carry a firearm, and some people on your list may even be too young. In the article “Back to School with Gun Tote’n Mamas,” I offered suggestions for personal safety items to carry in the gun compartment, including the following:

  • Pepper Spray
  • Knife
  • Kubotan
  • Flashlight
  • Expandable Baton
  • Taser
  • Whistle
  • Alarm/whistle
  • Tactical Pen
Mini BOHO pepper spray

These would all make great gifts (or stocking stuffers) – whether the person carries concealed or not. What else would you add?

RFID-pouches Giving the Gift of Personal Safety

Did you know GTM offers RFID pouches on its website? I’ve had a couple for a while and love them. I use one to hold my jewelry when I travel and the other is my travel wallet when I don’t want to carry a regular wallet. These are perfect as wallets or for storing other items for easy access in a purse. The pouch is available in 10 different colors for just $29.94, and the most challenging part is choosing just one.

Still need more ideas for that Gun Tote’n Mama (or guy) in your life? Check out these gift card suggestions:

  • Purchase a gift card from Gun Tote’n Mamas so the recipient can pick exactly what she/he wants.
  • Buy a gift certificate to train with a local trainer or attend a class.
  • Make a card that offers to pay for her enrollment in Donna Anthony’s Off Body (Purse/Bag) Concealed Carry Course
  • Create a handmade gift certificate for a trip to the range with you or a babysitting certificate so she can plan her own range time.
