This is definitely the toughest email I have ever written. Our sister, Holly Volquartsen-Kanne passed away unexpectedly on November 9, 2017 at the age of 40. She wasn’t just our sister, she was a mother, a wife, a daughter and so much more to so many people. If you ever had the chance to meet her, it would be an experience that would never be forgotten. She was the life of the party!
The impact she had was evident by all those that came to pay their respects to her this past weekend. Words cannot fully express the appreciation our family has for all those that reached out to us.
For some of our long-time customers, you may remember Holly from her days working in the office. She was actively involved at Volquartsen Firearms for many years so there is a good chance you may have spoken to her on the phone or visited with her at SHOT Show. Holly is also the one that created the original VC logo. Even though it has been changed slightly over the years it remained something she was very proud of.
She will be missed by many and I can honestly say there will never be another one like her.
Rest in Peace Holly. We love you!
