Wild Rose Apparel: A New Line of Women’s Fishing Shirts
San Antonio, Texas (May 9, 2016) – Lindsey Gates, local designer, launched Wild Rose Apparel (WRA), a women’s outdoor apparel line focused on fashionable functionality. Gates merged outdoor garment industry standards with seasonal fashion trends and inspired design details to develop an outdoor apparel line women can wear from the boat, to the beach and beyond.
Texas Designer Launches Wild Rose Apparel, First Fashionable High-Temp Performance Line of Women’s Fishing Shirts
WRA debuted “The Paradise Collection” a line of vibrant high-temp performance fishing shirts inspired by Gates’ travels to Italy where the colorful coastline and stylish island of Capri gave rise to what is now the first fashionable line of women’s fishing shirts in today’s outdoor apparel market. The Paradise Collection launched with five shirts appropriately named after Gates’ Italy inspiration; Rome, Capri, Sorrento, Florence and Venice. The collection also includes unique accessories from three custom designed buff masks for outdoor face protection, with easy transition into a chic headband for day-to-day wear, as well as, signature koozies, sunglasses, hats and bags.
The Paradise Collection is a line of high-temp performance shirts with UPF 50+ moisture wicking
material, stain and odor resistant, hidden zip pockets, vented back, lace mesh lined yoke, hidden loop for sunglasses and a signature iridescent button. The collection is comprised of five different shirts from sleeveless to long sleeve, sizes XS – XXL.
Gates said, “The launch of Wild Rose Apparel and the Paradise Collection has been a labor of love. I’ve worked in the outdoor industry my entire life, which is an industry primarily dominated by men. The disparity in women’s outdoor fashion inspired me to design a line women could wear while doing all of the outdoor activities they love, but look fashionable as well.
