Tycoon Tackle, Inc. announces Sara Low as newest addition to pro-staff

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VIRGINIA — Tycoon Tackle, Inc. announced the addition of professional fly angler Sara Low to the company’s Pro-Staff.  Low is a New York State-licensed fishing guide and fly fishing instructor that has more than 15 years experience in organizing and leading fishing trips and teaching fly fishing. She is a partner in High Spirits Unlimited, a travel company, which specializes in providing fly-fishing trips to unique and exciting destinations.  She is a Director of Theodore Gordon Flyfishers, a nonprofit conservation organization promoting protection of rivers and coldwater fish. Sara was honored by the Catskill Fly Fishing Center & Museum as a 2010 Flyfisher of Distinction and was a member of the 2014 First Cast Team to open the New York Fishing Season in the Catskills.

Low is an author and her new book, A Guide’s Guide to Fly-Fishing Mistakes is a handbook for improving fly-fishing techniques. Other off-water ventures include curating an award-winning museum exhibit, “The History of Women in Fly Fishing.” In her previous career, Sara was in entertainment advertising, marketing all the great Broadway shows.
