Unless you’re using a shotgun specifically designed for women, chances are the gun’s grip could be too large for your hand. If you can’t find a comfortable hold on the grip, any number of things can go wrong such as target view obscured by the receiver, premature trigger pulls, flinches or consistently shooting over or behind the target.
You may not find the problem as prevalent on so-called English straight grips but instead on pistol grips or semi-pistol grips.
