Vegas rolled out the red carpet at the Venetian’s V Bar for women of the firearms business, as we lined up to have our photos taken “Oscars” and “Emmy” style, upon entrance to the 2nd Annual Women’s Outdoor and Shooting Industry Dinner (#gungirldinner on Twitter), sponsored by LaserMax. Elbow-length gloves, hats worthy of a British wedding, fur stoles, red lipstick and costume jewelry … the evening brought out Old Hollywood Glam at its finest.
The women loved meeting other women whom they have been networking with during the past year through various social media outlets. An opportunity to get out of the tactical pants and polos or business work suits thrilled others.
As the women sipped cocktails and dined on the spectacular appetizers, they also exchanged business cards and discussed future endeavors together. It was an evening the ladies would not soon forget, the rarely seen glamorous side of the firearms industry.
