You read that right. We’re getting a makeover at Women’s Outdoor News.
Thank you for your support during the past 6 years. I suspect some of you remember the old wire look, back in the early days of blog format. With this launch of our new theme, we have moved away from the linear look of a wire service. Think Pinterest!
We will continue to offer the latest press releases regarding women in the hunting, shooting, fishing and adventure industries. You’ll also get to see our reviews and our stories. So, really, nothing’s changed there. What you will see, though, is TeamWON – our merry band of female correspondents, columnists and photographers – pushing their own boundaries and trying new outdoor adventures in 2014. Trips to New Zealand and Africa are being planned. I’m planning on learning to kayak Olympic style and stand-up paddle boarding might be on the schedule, too.
Also, we could not publish The WON without generous sponsors, especially from the hunting and shooting industries, who have underwritten the costs of this publication and who continue to give our team support in so many ways – from sending us products to inviting us to media events.
