Well, it’s that time of year again … time to do your Christmas shopping. I’m going to share with you some great products that I recommend as Christmas gifts for the outdoorswomen in your life. You might like them so much that you put them on your own wish list for Santa!
Women’s outdoor clothing
The HerCamoSHop (HCS) Reversible Beanie ($15.99) is a versatile option for hunters because it is both camo and hunter orange. If you’re looking for a hunter orange beanie with a little something extra, check out the HCS lighted beanie ($19.99).
This Mossy Oak logo hoodie ($43.99) is cute, and you can’t go wrong with another great looking hoodie in the closet. Another option for a casual hoodie is the Browning buckmark sweatshirt ($43.99). This solid color hoodie comes in white, brown and pink.
I’ve been wearing the Browning Wasatch clothing line for several years now. I have the ladies pants and button up shirts, and I love them. I’m putting the Wasatch performance hoodie ($59.99) on my wish list this year, especially since it comes in my favorite Mossy Oak Infinity camo pattern.
Footwear
If you’re looking for a great pair of warm- and wet-weather boots, look no further than these Muck Woody Max boots ($144.99). My friends in Illinois introduced me to Muck boots several years ago, and I’m certainly glad they did. These are the best for extremely cold and wet daylong sits in the deer stand or in a duck blind.
When I’m doing a lot of hiking, whether it is turkey season, early-bow season or scouting and working in my hunting area, I prefer a lightweight GORE-TEX hiking boot. I absolutely, love these LOWA Renegade GTX Mid ($220.00) hiking boots. I even have a pair in black to wear when I’m standing all day at outdoor stores during tradeshows.
For the waterfowler
After I fill my buck tag, I switch gears and do a little duck and goose hunting. I wear the Drake Waterfowl MST Eqwader ¼ Zip Jacket ($99.99) to keep me warm and dry while I’m out in the elements.
Hunting gear
These Bipod Shooting Sticks ($39.99) are definitely going on my wish list to Santa. I have used shooting sticks since I started hunting and the versatility of these sticks really caught my eye.
The Cyclops Dual USB Power Charger ($59.99) is another item on my wish list. It is capable of charging a cell phone up to 5 times on a single charge. It has a 1-amp and a 2.1-amp USB port for charging various cell phones, MP3 players or cameras. Its compact size (2.5″ x 4.5″ x .75″) won’t take much room in my hunting pack.
Hooyman Saws have some handy items. In fact, 2 different hunting friends recommended them to me. The Hooyman Original ($59.99) extends to 5 feet; they also have a Hooyman 10-foot version ($89.99) and their Hooyman Ratchet Pruner ($44.99) that is actually a two-in-one pruner and hand saw.
I can’t stress enough how important tree stand safety is. I highly recommend the Hunter Safety System vests, whichever model suits your particular needs. I use the HSS Lady Pro ($149.99).
Beretta USA
A while back, I did a gear review on the Beretta Nano ($445). Check out this pistol if you’re looking for a concealed-carry gun for that special someone.
I recently purchased the Beretta Techno WindGuard Sweater ($128.99). This sweater is great for running around town, shooting and hunting, especially when that winter wind is howling.
Stocking Stuffers
Don’t forget stocking stuffers for the outdoorswoman in your life! Below are a few that you can order online from HerCamoShop.
HerCamoShop scent-free travel pack ($8.49)
Outdoor Edge folding knife ($17.99)
Browning Faline silver spangle decal ($9.99)
BurzOff burr removal aid ($9.99)
Crooked Horn bino system ($19.99)
I hope Santa brings everything you want this year. Happy holidays!
