CONCORD, New Hampshire — New Hampshire women can take the bait and head out on the high seas as part of the Fish and Game division’s “Becoming an Outdoors Woman” series.
Registration opens Monday (May 6) for the popular program, and Fish and Game officials predict it will fill up fast.
Participants pay $75, which includes saltwater rods and reels, bait and passage aboard the Yellowbird vessel out of Hampton Beach.
The price of admission also includes a deckhand who will fillet the fish caught by participants.
The boat will travel about 25 miles offshore and participants will drop lines for haddock, cod, pollock and other ground fish.
The trip is scheduled for Sunday, June 9.
The “Becoming an Outdoors Woman” series is co-sponsored by Fish and Game and the New Hampshire Wildlife Federation.
