Jim Cooke wins the Comp-Tac giveaway! Congratulations!
We are pleased to welcome Comp-Tac Victory Gear as one of our partners at Women’s Outdoor News. Comp-Tac is used by top shooters such as Randi Rogers, Gordon Carrell and Comp-Tac owner Gregg Garrett. Randi recently won the High Lady title in the Production division at the Texas Open USPSA Championship. Read more about Randi here.
We are kicking things off with a Comp-Tac Victory Gear giveaway. One of our lucky winners will win a Deluxe Pro Competition kit!
The Deluxe Pro Competition kit is comprised of:
The International: The International combines a belt holster, belt drop offset holster, paddle holster and paddle drop offset holster into one. The modular mounting system combines the versatility of different mounting options with the superior Kydex holster that Comp-Tac is known for.
Twin Mag Pouch: One unique feature of the Twin Mag Pouch is that each pouch is independently adjustable, eliminating the problem of one side being too loose and the other being too tight. Another feature is that your magazines will be the same space apart from each other every time you go to reload. Some shooters may find that this will help them become more consistent in their reloads.
Kydex Reinforced Contour Belt: Adequate support is essential to minimizing fatigue and keeping your gear where it’s supposed to be. Flimsy dress belts are simply inadequate to the task and most gun belts, even though they start out strong, lose their stiffness somewhere along the way. Minotaur’s belts are designed to far outlast anything you might have hanging in your closet.
The Deluxe Pro Competition Kit retails for $191.50 and is built to order.
To enter, simply leave a comment below with the make and model of gun you would use this rig for. The winner will be drawn on Friday, March 29 at 5:00pm and announced in our weekly newsletter on Saturday. Good luck, boys and girls!

Glock…..19. But I could also use my 17 or 26. Perfect for IDPA matches. 🙂
This would help me get over the hurdle of becoming a sharpshooter in IDPA!
Bersa Thunder .380. Currently in a case, would love the set up in the give away!!
This would be a great rig for my production Smith & Wessom M&P 9 !
Would definitely be an improvement for my Glock 19. I’ve carried a G19 exclusively in a Comp-Tac MTAC for something like five years now, and although I’m happy with it this rig would suit competition quite a bit better.
This would make a great competition rig (left handed) for my Gen 4 Glock 34.
I would use this set up for my Springfield XD .40! Please count me in and Thank You!
I would love this rig (right hand draw) for my m&p shield chambered in 40 s&w .
Sweet deal!
I would use this for a Glock 19, right side carry.
XDM 9mm 5.25 ( and I’m a southpaw )! Can’t think of a better rig.
Found this contest while looking at the Comp-Tac site for a rig to get into IDPA. I currently carry my Sig P239 in a Comp-Tac.
I would use this for my Sig P226 Extreme in 9mm.
Best of luck all!
Would be awesome for my SA XDM 5.25 in .45ACP for my club practical pistol matches, long rifle and 3 gun matches!
My Caracal C 9 mm or my Smith and Wessen M&P compact 9mm would look great in your gear! It would make all the men at the IDPA tournament DROOL!
I need one for my new Taurus!! Not sure yet but looking at a 24/7 G2
My Ruger 9mm would sit so nice in that set up, thanks for the chance.
S&W M&P VTac and it would be rocked by every new shooter I taught.
I would use my kit for IDPA at Cedar Ridge, TX, with Terry Burba and my Ruger SR9
Would love to win one for my Springfield 1911 Lightweight Champion Operator! Gotta love a 45. 🙂
I’m saving for a Springfield XDM .45 and will need the gear to go along with. This would be a great addition to my gear bag!
I would use that rig ALOT for the very awesome Smith & Wesson M&P9
My husband harps at me to start shooting, he wants to buy me a 9mm so this would be a nice start to hold the weapon he gets me.
I use an XD-45 would love this rig going to start three gun comp. soon and need a good pistol rig.
I’d have to steal my Gf’s Eclipse…or a well, anything I can afford to shoot 🙂
Smith & Wesson M&P-22 Semi-Automatic 22 LR Pistol for USPSA shoots!
I carry a 380 Bersa. Would use this nice rig for training.
