Ever-growing numbers of women are taking classes, buying firearms and learning to shoot, for self-defense, hunting or simply because shooting is fun and empowering. Many of these ladies are “women of a certain age” who have grown children and did not grow up in shooting families and are taking up shooting relatively late in life.
