The Detroit News headline says it all: “DNR Takes Aim at Women.” The article, written by Calvin Men, quotes DNR Becoming an Outdoors-Woman Coordinator Sue Tabor in regard to women and , “We don’t really push the women into hunting activities, but oftentimes, some of them do take the shooting classes … What I see quite often is that it really increases their confidence once they try shooting or hunting or a fishing class.”
