There are a couple of budget friendly Beyond BOW workshops being offered in the next few months for those of you who want to get outdoors and have fun while learning. Beyond BOW workshops are anything we offer that is not one of our big, weekend long, 30-40 classes workshops. Beyond BOW’s are usually offered by our BOW instructors and you get information from them and register directly with them. The following are all located in the Adirondacks.
The Complete Hiker: Fun and Safety in the Wildlands – get the most out of your hiking adventures by learning how to stay safe while exploring the backcountry.
Date: August 13, 2011 (need a minimum of five participants for workshop)
Cost: $30 per person; price does not include breakfast, dinner, or lodging

High Peak Jaunt: Views from the Summit – hike to the summit of an Adirondack peak with a licensed guide.

Adirondack White-tailed Deer Hunting – learn deer hunting techniques and tactics and maybe get a chance to harvest the elusive Adirondack white-tailed deer.
