Two of the top women shooters in the United States will be competing this weekend at the Wyoming State Steel Challenge.
Julie Goloski Golob, captain of Team Smith & Wesson, and Carrie Jamrogowicz, who has three Production Nationals stage wins to her credit among many other honors, will be shooting July 17 and 18 at the Rawlins Outdoor Shooting Complex in Rawlins, Wyoming. Both ladies live in Montana.
Family commitments altered her summer competition schedule, allowing her to enter the Wyoming match, Golob told The WON.
“Entering the match in Wyoming was sort of a last-minute decision,” she said, “But I’m looking forward to it.”
“Frankly, I’m feeling a little rusty because I haven’t shot Steel Challenge since 2009,” she added. “But we’ll see.”
