SHOT Show 2017 to Host Second Annual Women’s Meet & Mingle

(LAS VEGAS – January 12, 2017) This year, SHOT Show is proud to present the second annual Meet & Mingle social event presented for and by the women of the shooting, hunting and outdoor industries. Hosted by Bonnier Sportsmen’s Lounge, the Meet & Mingle will provide a place where women who work in the industry can network and enjoy light refreshments.

“We received positive feedback from our survey following last year’s event,” said Barbara Baird, Publisher, Women’s Outdoor News and Contributing Editor, SHOT Daily and SHOT Business. “We are delighted to host a gathering where women in the industry can meet, network and compare notes. Special thanks to Susan LaPierre, of the NRA Women’s Network, and Julie Golob, professional competitor and retail seminar presenter at SHOT Show 2017, for their guidance in planning and helping to make this event a success.”

Kim Rhode will be attending and has agreed to a photo session that begins at 4 p.m. She will have added another medal to her collection from last year’s Olympics!

Participants are encouraged to bring business cards for inclusion in a directory, which event coordinators will compile and make available to attendees. The U.S. women’s Olympic shooting team will arrive at 4PM for a photo session with guests.

mckenna dahl meet & mingle

McKenna Dahl won her first Olympic medal this summer in the Paralympics. She also will be attending the event and has agreed to a photo session.

The event will be held on Thursday, January 19, from 4PM to 6PM in the Bonnier Sportsmen’s Lounge: Level 3, San Polo 3501. All women attending SHOT Show 2017 are invited to drop in.
