Last November, 2 members of the UK’s Shotgun & Chelsea Bun Club (S&CBC) came to the US for a tour, which included spending time in Texas, Kansas and Missouri. Victoria Knowles-Lacks, the founder of the S&CBC and her good friend, Claire Sadler, a lawyer from London, arrived in Dallas on Sat., Nov. 12. Our managing editor, Michelle Cerino, flew there to sightsee and make sure the ladies drove on the “right” side of the road. One of the must-sees, and on the wish list from the UK visitors, was Southfork Ranch.
Judy Rhodes, our hunting writer and founder of DIVA WOW, lives in Dallas, but had been preoccupied with her son’s wedding eariler. She joined the group – and me – on Tues., Nov. 15.
In the meantime, Michelle had escorted the ladies to see the famous Texas School Book Depository and Southfork Ranch.
“Dallas was just incredible! It was such an amazing city and we absolutely loved it … not as much as the company though. Barb, Judy and Michelle were just the absolute best. We’ll never forget our time with these amazing ladies,” said Victoria.
We put together this video, a compilation of various photos and movies, from the women’s trip to Southfork. We hope you enjoy watching it, and that if you haven’t been to JR Ewing’s place, you’ll feel like you got a peek behind the scenes.
