Huntsville, AL — The Remington Outdoor Company (“ROC”) is pleased to announce Ginger Chandler’s appointment as Sr. Vice President, New Product Development and Innovation.
“We are very excited to have Ginger lead new product development and innovation,” said George Kollitides, CEO. “Ginger is a firearms industry veteran and her knowledge and leadership skills are well suited for her new role. Further, Ginger’s expertise in pistols will augment our existing strength in long-guns, as Remington continues its push into handguns.”

Previously, Ginger led lean at Nike’s European logistics center. Prior to Nike, Ginger ran R&D and New Product Development for Smith & Wesson, where she significantly grew new product revenue.
Ginger began her career at Breed Technologies and Autoliv where she held progressively responsible roles indevelopment, prototyping, and operations. She was promoted to Vice President, Engineering where she perfected a gated development process with Toyota’s support. She then went to work for Yomo Consulting, where she utilized the Toyota Productions System to improve business.
Ginger has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Lamar University, is a member of the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society, holds several patents and is enrolled in the University of Texas MBA program.
